Research into Storyboards

Story boards organise series of illustrations or images which are displayed in a sequence. This is done as a way of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence. They can also often include arrows or instructions that include movement. The way story boards are done in this modern day was created by the Walt Disney Studio during the early 1930’s. I am going to show three different styles of storyboards.
This is an example of a story board done by Walt Disney:

Storyboards for films are a large comic of the film or some section of the film produced before
This storyboard is done by an independent film company:
This is a storyboard from a previous student:
From these three storyboards I know the standard that my storyboard should be at and how to make them effective with the use of images and arrows. I have also seen how there are so many different styles that can be done. I think the most successful story boards are very clear and bold meaning it will help us when we as a group direct the short film.

hand, this helps film directors, cinematographers and television commercial advertising clients visualize certain scenes. By having a storyboard it can find potential problems before they occur. Advantages of storyboards are that it allows the user to experiment with changes they may want to make in the storyline. For example flashbacks are often the results of sorting storyboards out of chronological order to help build suspense.
