Ancillary Tasks- Short FIlm Review
We are going to look at a selection of film reviews and analyse them in order to help us make a review for our own short film ‘The Dream’.
Poster Evaluation
Overall our poster is very bold and eye-catching which is exactly what we aimed towards as if it was being used to sell our film we would need it to stand out and appeal to the audience. We have used features we found during research for example a soft tone and red titles as we want the poster to represent the genre romance. We also added on the small information at the bottom which all posters include with details such as music supervisor etc. We then added ‘IN CINEMAS THIS SUMMER’ in capital letters to make it more bold and important.
Final Edited Photographs
We have chosen the first photograph for our final poster as we think the photograph works well with a romance theme as it has a red tint to it with the lipstick and trousers. It also puts all the focus on the main character Livy.
